Michael, I'd love to know: do you have ideas in mind, in advance of next week's word, for how the strip is going to continue, or do you literally play it be ear as you go along?
Hi Lynne Thanks for your question. I do have an overall idea of where I want the story to go. Sometimes the word of the week suggests a direct route and other times I have to make a detour. There is an underlying theme that Splinky is trying to find out what is going on, but is a lot of the time, distracted from the big picture by the random nonsense of the moment... a bit like my own life in some ways, now I come to think about it.....
